Theatre Managers

The Theatre Managers work closely with the theatre companies who perform at Rocket. Their job is to make sure that they have everything they need to perform, to help them get in and out of the space at their designated times, to assist in solving any problems that may arise, and to ensure that the companies' experience with Rocket is as pleasant and stress-free as possible. To these theatre companies you are the face of Rocket Venues, and therefore we are looking for Theatre Managers who have good organizational skills, people skills, and the ability to solve problems.

Theatre Manager duties include the following:

  • Schedule tech rehearsal times
  • Greet companies when they first arrive, go over venue rules
  • Answer questions
  • Help solve problems as they arise
  • Assist get-in and get-out
  • Makes sure the company leaves the space in order
  • Collect box office and other information for daily performance reports
